EMOTIONAL Daniel RICCIARDO EDIT (Farewell Season) | Docuedit F1 2024 – Developer Diary 07

DANIEL RICCIARDO EDIT REVEALED

Very welcome to the episode number seven of the  Developer Diary Docuedit – Formula 1 2024 season. In this episode number seven  I will reveal the latest edit I’ve made, that is about the Australian  driver Daniel Ricciardo. This edit will be extremely emotional. if you are Daniel Ricardo fan you will cry because I tried to put all my efforts into  pay tribute to Daniel Ricciardo in that edit, which is a driver that won’t be anymore in Formula One. that was the reason because I made this edit.

What I want to represent in Daniel beyond the action on track, that this year was not spectacular. There are not so many highlights from  Daniel Ricciardo this season. I tried the most to make the edit, but it was really difficult I have to say. The most important in this edit was to represent the personality of Daniel Ricardo, a driver that personally I enjoyed a lot off track. It’s a driver that always transmit very good vibes, always smiling and making easy the day of the rest  of the people and teammates. You will find during the  edit moments like this one where you can see Daniel Ricciardo smiling:

I’ve used footage about the action on track from Daniel, some interviews where he was explaining different circumstances. There are some overtakes he did in some moments of the season. Also some moments on track where he was passed by different drivers.
And the highlight of the season, that for me was that Sprint race he did in Miami, where he finished fourth holding up the Ferrari of  Carlos Sainz and the McLaren of Oscar Piastri since lap 1.

The edit starts and finish in the Singapore Grand Prix, after his final  race before to be substituted by Liam Lawson in the RB. You can see Ricciardo, after the race, in the car, waiting some minutes before to get out for the last time in a Formula 1 car thinking that probably it would be his last time inside of a Formula 1 car competing. This footage was combined with the post race interview, where he was  really emotional, almost crying, knowing that probably would be his  final Formula One Grand Prix ever. That was the interview that motivated me and inspired me to make that edit about Daniel Ricciardo. It will be a very sad one, especially for the Daniel Ricciardo fans.

for me the most important part of this edit is what Daniel Ricciardo represents as a person, not as a driver. That’s what I want to show and to reflect in this Docuedit. To try to create a legacy forever for every  person will watch this Docuedit in the future they will be able to see what Daniel represented in Formula 1, not only as a driver.

MULTI-EDIT CONCEPT EXPLAINED

Let me explain a very interesting concept that you will able to see in this Docuedit named multi-edit if you were following this series (Developer Diary – Docuedit F1 2024) since the beginning you’ve watched some bits of previous  edits I’ve made for this project, Docuedit F1 2024. For example the Lando Norris edit in the Miami Grand Prix. That not means that these drivers won’t be shown anymore in the Docuedit after these edits. Most of the drivers will be shown in different edits where they are not the protagonist, but for some reason they were involved. For example: I made an incredible edit about Charles Leclerc and his win in Monaco, but maybe you are asking  yourself: what about Italy? Charles Leclerc also won the Italian Grand Prix. In fact I’ve made an edit about Charles Leclerc winning in Italy. The proof that I’ve made an edit about Charles Leclerc winning the 2024 Italian Grand Prix is in the images below:

Would you like to watch part of that edit? FLoz Premium members of my Patreon page have access to the All Access Episode 6 of the Developer Diary – Docuedit F1 2024. There I reveal more images about that edit and show some footage for the first time ever. You can get access becoming in FLoz Premium member on my Patreon page.

About Lando Norris: I made an edit, as I explained before, the where he was winning for  the first time in the 2024 Miami Grand Prix. That not means he won’t be in the rest of the edits anymore. I will make more edits about Lando Norris in the Docuedit because he was the main championship contender Max Verstappen had this season.

Most of the drivers will be shown during different  phases of the Docuedit in different edits. In some of them they will be the protagonist, in others they will be shown much less, but they will share some kind of protagonism with different drivers. That what’s the multi-edit concept means. So, whoever you are fan of, don’t worry, you will be able to watch your favorite driver in different parts of the Docuedit across the different edits that forms the Docuedit Formula One 2024 season.

A NEW EDIT REVEALED
