WHY THE SILVER WAR F1 2016 WAS REMOVED? LEWIS HAMILTON VS NICO ROSBERG DOCUMENTARY

The Silver War F1 2016 was published on YouTube on December 17th 2016. After three years online, it was blocked, and then removed from YouTube. Why? In this video post I try to find the response, and also I reveal my theory about it.

The Silver War F1 2016 was removed in 2019 by a copyright claim. The video still on YouTube, it’s posible to see the title, description and the video itself, but only by me in the YouTube creator Studio, which is the section of YouTube where creators can manage everything related to his content.

The copyright claim was release by Formula one (FOM) That’s weird because normally Formula 1 caim your videos, but they let you to maintain it public for everyone, just they can monetize it and to gain money from it. I’m not sure if they do it or not. In this case, the documentary was claimed by F1 in June 2018, after being published two and a half years. In February 2019, around eight months after was copyright claimed for the first time, I appealed the video to try to make it public again. YouTube gave me the reason. and YouTube let me to put public the video again for everyone.

Some weeks later, once again Formula one claimed the video, but this time was removed automatically. I didn’t understand the reason. I have my theory that I will share with all of you: I used a lot of music from very, very different artist, and probably one of them claimed the music. Maybe one of these music composers monetized the video, my video. When YouTube detect you are using music from third parties, there are different actions clamiers can take about the right usage of their music in other video insinde of the YouTube platform. Sometimes the music composers or the companies where the music is hosted can monetize your video, and to place ads on it.

Maybe, when F1 detected that on this video, they understood this video was generating money, using content from Formula 1.I think that’s the reason why they tried to monetize my video, but some music composers did it before. Maybe for Formula 1 was impossible to claim the 100% of the video. These music companies were gaining money from it, And Formula 1 decided to claim the video, taking it down to avoid a third party or another company, apart from Formula 1, was generating money with it.

That’s the story and my theory. A lot of people asked about that all these years. Nowadays I don’t know the exactly reason why this documentary was took down. Fortunately, The Silver War F1 2016 can be watched again!
