THE EDITOR CHALLENGE
After creating previous documentaries such as The Silver War, Silver vs Red, and The Eighth and One, fans of Dani’s work kept making the same request: the creation of a 2010 Formula One documentary. In September 2026, Dani finally announced what everyone had been waiting for: he was going to start working on the documentary.
For the creator, making this new documentary represents a huge challenge for several reasons. First of all, the poor quality of the footage available from that period (2010). Second, the difficulty of finding enough clips, highlights, and driver interviews from those years to build a solid story, full of details, that properly explains the championship fight throughout the 2010 season.
Third, there’s the storyline and editing process. Most of Dani’s previous documentaries focused on rivalries between two particular drivers. This time, however, the story involves five drivers fighting for the title. The complexity of telling the story from five different drivers’ perspectives is probably the biggest challenge of all. But Dani has said he’s ready for it, regardless of how long it takes to complete what could become another masterpiece for Formula One fans.
