OSCAR PIASTRI EDIT REVEALED
in this fifth episode I going to reveal a new edit about Oscar Piastri. That edit is my first ever about this driver. In the previous episode of the Developer Diary (in the All Access version that FLoz Premium Members can watch on my Patreon page) I was explaining you the problems I had before to start to make this edit because Oscar Piastri is a very special driver. He is a very cold driver, his personality is not so exciting as for example Lewis Hamilton or even Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris. I’ve found a way to represent the personality and the character of Oscar Piastri this season.
The beginning of the edit, the music that I’ve selected is very calm music representing that cold spirit of Oscar Piastri, that always looks that it doesn’t matter what is happening, he’s just chill, just relax. The edit is divided in three parts. The chill part, that is the first one, is where you can see footage from Oscar driving the car, on interviews with this relax-calm music that you can listen just below:
The second part is a bit more intense where you can see best highlights of Oscar battling against another drivers like Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen. In the second part of the edit you will be able to see a lot of highlights of Oscar this season, including visual montage and cool transitions like this one where I’ve Combined to different sequences from Oscar driving in Austria and in Monaco, where they have (McLaren) the special yellow livery to pay tribute to Ayrton Senna and his incredible record of victories in the streets of Monaco. That transition is very interesting because I made some tricks in the montage process with the camera zoom, where you can see the orange papaya car and, suddenly the footage changes to the yellow Ayrton Senna livery car as you can see just below:
The third part of the edit is much different. You will be able to see the victory of Oscar in Hungary, including the team radio orders between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, some battles and some good overtakes Piastri did so far until the Hungarian Grand Prix. Before to come to that third part of the edit, there is a transition between part two and three where you can see a slow motion footage from Oscar. at that point of the edit is where I introduce some phrases from Oscar that I’ve picked from an interview that I was listening on my YouTube channel, on live with all of you. The interview that Oscar Piastri made was in the Formula 1 official podcast that is named as «Beyond the Grid» during the interview I was picking some quotes from Oscar that could be interesting to add to the edit. These are some of the phrases I choose from the interview:
«Prevention is the best way to attack it rather than waiting for it to happen and trying to fight it so that was kind of the the mentality I had»
«When you’re in the car there’s another person you’re trying to beat really when you’re on track, they’re all the same»

The third and final part of the edit is where is the most important moments of Oscar Piastri season until Hungary. The best overtakes, the best moves and obviously the victory in Hungary with all the polemic around. The edit quality is really high. Personally, as the creator of it, I’m very happy with this edit. I had a lot of doubts at the beginning about if I would be able to make something great about Oscar. Now I can say that it’s one of my favorite edits of all I made for this Docuedit so far.
