WHAT IS THE SILVER WAR F1?
The Silver War F1 is the story of one of the biggest Formula 1 rivalries between teammates in the story of the competition. The battle for the F1 World championship between the two Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One drivers: Nico Rosberg, from Germany, and Lewis Hamilton, from Great Britain.
THE SILVER WAR F1 2016
The Silver War F1 2016 is the story of two old friends that became in new rivals when they had a Formula One car that was fast enough to fight for the Formula One World Championship.The concept Silver War is based in the fact that the Mercedes cars (The team where Rosberg and Hamilton are driving for) are known as Silver Arrows due to the iconic silver paint they have in most of the motor sport competitions where Mercedes is involved.
The Silver War F1 2016 is the final chapter of the trilogy about this battle on track between team mates. The final episode of this rivalry take place in the last race of the 2016 season, in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, when Nico Rosberg wins the drivers championship after a long season battle against his team mate Lewis Hamilton. After that final race, Nico Rosberg announces his retirement from Formula 1, which means the end of The Silver War F1 era.
The Silver War F1 was created by Dani Lozano (known as FLoz) Dani produced a documentary named as The Silver War F1 2016, telling the full story of the championship battle between Rosberg and Hamilton that season, in 2016. The documentary was released on Youtube, on December 2016. The video was watched, shared and commented by thousand of Formula 1 fans during the first days after the release. In one year, The Silver War F1 2016 reached more than one million views, a record breaking for a fan-made F1 documentary on Youtube. The documentary was hosted on YouTube until 2019, when it was blocked for unknown circumstances.
ORIGINS OF THE SILVER WAR F1 2014
Years later, Dani decided to extend the story, creating the prequel of The Silver War F1 2016, named as Origins of The Silver War F1 2014. Same protagonists (Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton) same Formula one team involved (Mercedes) but two years before, during the Formula one 2014 season.
This documentary explains the origin of the rivalry between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in Mercedes. Watching Origins of The Silver War you will be able to understand much better why the relationship between both drivers changed from an extraordinary friendship to one of the most cold and cruel rivalries in Formula One.
Dani Lozano made this documentary, originally, as a series of ten episodes (10 minutes long each one approximately) The episode 1,2 and 3 were upload to the YouTube channel where he upload all his Formula One documentaries: FLoz by Dani Lozano. The rest of the episodes were upload to Vimeo during the 2018 year. In 2020 Dani decided to compile all episodes in one single video, creating the official documentary: Origins of The Silver War F1 2014 – Lewis Hamilton vs Nico Rosberg.

TRANSITION TO THE SILVER WAR F1 2015
The last chapter of The Silver War F1 trilogy was created in 2023. The name of the third and last F1 documentary about the rivalry between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in Mercedes is: Transition to The Silver War F1 2015.
As it’s own name says, Transition to The Silver War is the story in between about the rivalry for the Formula One World championship of the two Mercedes AMG Petronas drivers: Lewis Hamilton vs Nico Rosberg. Transition to The Silver War takes place one season after Origins of The Silver War F1 2014, being the sequel of that documentary. At the same time, Transition to The Silver War is the prequel of The Silver F1 2016.
Dani Lozano created this documentary to complete The Silver War F1 saga.
