THE EIGHTH AND ONE: Q&A | MAX VERSTAPPEN VS LEWIS HAMILTON F1 2021 DOCUMENTARY

Dani Lozano (FLoz) responds to some questions asked by his followers on social media about The Eighth And One F1 2021 documentary. The video about the title fight between Max Verstappen vs Lewis Hamilton.

*These questions were asked to Dani some days ago the documentary was released on Youtube (February 22nd 2022)

Q: How long is the documentary? | by Rishi Naik

A: 86 minutes, that means 1 hour and 26 minutes long.

Q: When is the release? | by Thato Lebethe

A: 22 February 2022. It’s super easy to remember, it’s all about two and zeros

Q: Will it have any unseen videos, onboards or radios | by Riding Unicycle1

A: Good question. No. There’s not unseen footage, Because it’s all public. Probably you watched it before, but you didn’t watch all this footage put together in a single video. Maybe you saw some clips separately from the others. Some team radios, some interviews, some post press conference interviews with the drivers, but not the whole thing compilated in one single video. That’s what makes unique this kind of documentaries. And there are some parts of the documentary, for example the crash at Silverstone. And all what happened after, with Horner, Toto Wolff, it’s very, very well compilated. You will have a clear perspective of all what happened after the crash. It will be very, very interesting to see.

Q: Is there a way we could vote for a better name? | by robotlauncher

A: The Eighth And One just doesn’t have the same ring to it like: The Silver War or Five or Nothing. I understand that. I mean: It’s impossible to see everyone is agree with you in everything you do. In this case, the name. I took too much time to think about it. because is very important as you know. I think it’s good, it’s very good. Maybe it’s not so easy to remember or to understand as The Silver War or Silver vs Red, specially if you are not a proper Formula 1 fan. Once you’ve watched this documentary, it will have more sense on your mind. This name is very good because it has many, many different meanings inside of the title. The Eighth And One is not only: The Eight And One. The meaning is really extended to other aspects. Anyway if you want to investigate, to understand the real meaning and the real powerful title is this, some weeks ago I published a post for Patrons. It’s very interesting. where I Reveal all meanings of this title, some of them are really cool. Anyway, I respect your opinion. Actually there’s not a possibility of change. The name was decided. I think The Eighth And One is very cool and most of the people love it.

Q: What are you thoughts on Abu Dhabi, specially now Michael Masi has been fired? As a Hamilton fan it’s safe to say I will never get over this. | by Heyn_17

A: Yeah… It’s a tricky question. I understand Lewis fans. They have reasons to be angry. Max did a fantastic job, he absolutely deserves to be a World Champion. His season was the best if you see number stats: Laps lead, kilometers lead, number of wins, number of podiums. But, by the other hand, the season Lewis Hamilton did it’s at the same level, or it’s almost at the same level. The way he lose in the last race, Yeah… it was controversial, it was very polemic. I understand you can blame about it. I will take the opportunity, reading this question, to say: This documentary: The Eighth And One, it’s not a tribute to Max Verstappen or to the Lewis Hamilton’s season. It’s a tribute to the fantastic battle they had on track during the whole season. Obviously, if you are a Max Verstappen fan, I’m sure you will watch it, probably more than one time, but, I have a message for Lewis Hamilton fans: I recommend you to watch The Eighth And One, this documentary, becuase if you admire Lewis Hamilton, you will admire him even most after watching The Eighth And One. You will realize how good he was during the season, specially in the edit of the Brazilian Grand Prix, the whole weekend. It’s well put together in the documentary. It’s one of my favorite edits. that weekend is a tribute itself to Lewis Hamilton. You have to watch it, specially if you are a Lewis Ham fans you have to watch this documentary, specially this edit.

Q: Your documentaries are incredible. Will you be able to make a documentary about the 2010 and 2012 season? | by Prateek gill

A: Some people tell me this a lot of times. These seasons were incredible as you know. 2010: five drivers and three different teams fighting for the World Title. For the moment I can’t say I will make it because it’s very difficult to find good quality footage about these seasons. Also extra footage, interviews with the drivers. For the moment it’s not in my plans. If you are part of the Patreon community. You will receive exclusive news, exclusive info. About projects I will make in the future. Q: So, what are your hopes, what do you wish will happen in 2022? What will you miss most about Kimi Räikkonen? Do you think that if Mercedes signed George Russell for 2021 would Max win the title? What is your favorite team from the midfield: Alpine, Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Williams, Alpha Tauri, Haas? | by Gryzzly Jack

A: This is a bonus question ah? Many responses. I think is the moment to present my second YouTube channel: danifloz. There you can find more info about me as a content creator and Formula 1 fan. You can take a look.
